How does Aria interview candidates?
Aria holds a live spoken conversation in the browser. She asks one question at a time, listens, asks follow-ups, makes questions harder or simpler based on the answers, and wraps up on time. Candidates can interrupt, ask her to repeat, or say "let me think".
What does the candidate need?
A laptop or desktop with Google Chrome (or another Chromium browser), a webcam, a microphone, and ideally headphones. A guided 3-minute setup checks everything before the interview starts. Phones aren't supported.
How is the candidate scored?
After the call, an evaluator scores each skill from 0 to 10 using only the transcript, and every strength and weakness links to the exact moment it happened. Accent, grammar and style are never penalised. The recommendation is advice; your team makes the decision.
What about cheating?
Webcam, full screen and audio are recorded, and signals like tab switches, a second monitor, copy/paste or extra faces are logged on a timeline you can click to review. Nothing is auto-rejected: signals are shown to reviewers, not used as verdicts.
How long are recordings kept?
Recordings are private to your team, played back through short-lived secure links, and deleted automatically after 90 days (30 days on the free trial). Transcripts and reports stay until you delete them.
Which languages are supported?
English, tuned for Indian English (en-IN) by default. US and UK English are also available per interview.
