Terms of service
Chayan by Moonbyte Labs · Last updated 26 October 2026
The service
Chayan, operated by Moonbyte Labs, lets hiring teams ("customers") run AI-conducted voice interviews with candidates and review the resulting transcripts, recordings and evaluations.
Accounts
Recruiters must provide accurate information and keep their login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite.
Using Chayan fairly
Customers must have a lawful basis to interview and record candidates, and must tell candidates how their data is used (Chayan shows a consent screen before every interview).
Evaluations are advisory. Hiring decisions must be made by people, not solely by the AI score.
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful discrimination, harassment, attempts to break security, or reselling access without permission.
Candidates
Candidates take interviews at the customer's invitation. Questions about a hiring decision should go to the hiring company. Candidates can contact us about their data at any time.
Data
We process interview data on the customer's behalf as described in our Privacy policy. Recordings are deleted automatically within 90 days (30 days on free trials). Customers can delete candidates and interviews at any time.
Availability
We work hard to keep Chayan available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is". AI-generated transcripts and evaluations can contain mistakes and should be reviewed.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Moonbyte Labs isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll notify customers of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
